Mini Guide: Best Morning Skincare Routine for Dry Skin

If you’re struggling to keep your skin smooth and soft it’s probably time you changed up your skincare routine. People who suffer from dry skin often have difficulty keeping their skin hydrated throughout the day resulting in skin which feels dry, flaky and ultimately uncomfortable. Following a skincare routine which helps retain moisture is key.

Daily skincare routine for dry skin

Regardless of your skin type, everyone should follow a consistent daytime and night time skincare routine. Below, we’ve put together a mini guide on what you should be doing to achieve the best morning skincare routine for your skin.

The best morning skincare routine for dry skin

Following the correct morning skincare routine before exposing yourself to a world full of pollutants, UV rays and and many other damaging factors is imperative and you should be following the steps below.

Use a cleanser: Firstly you need to be cleansing your face shortly after waking up and those with dry skin especially need to be making sure they’re using a mild, gentle and fully hydrating face wash. We recommend consulting reviews before buying anything and seeing which products have worked for people with similar skin to yours.

Use serum: Containing a high concentration of antioxidants, serum is perfect to help protect against the environmental factors. We recommend our Super Vitamin C Booster, which is a ground-breaking serum with an action-packed formula containing vitamin C, hyaluronic acid and green tea extract. These work to promote new collagen growth, visibly reduce signs of ageing, fine lines and wrinkles to give users a naturally youthful glow.

Moisturise: After you’ve washed your face and applied serum, it’s time to moisturise. We guide people to wait no longer than 3 minutes after washing your face before applying moisturiser. Moisturising will help keep your skin hydrated throughout the day. Using our Super Hydrating Jet Lag Cream will leave your skin looking radiant and renewed thanks to its advanced anti-aging formula which contains vitamins, antioxidants, ceramides and gentle exfoliating extracts.

Apply SPF: Once you’ve followed the previous steps, it’s time to apply sun protection factor. It’s crucial for protecting your skin from the sun, even on cloudy days and preventing UV damage and keeping your skin healthy. When choosing a product make sure it has at least SPF 30.

This is part one of our mini guide to the best skincare routine for dry skin. Check back to our blog over the next couple of weeks for part two which will guide you on the best night time skincare routine.
